I switched after credits on another platform became unaffordable. On MLAbuddy I just practice whenever. No guilt.

What PLAB 2 candidates say
These reviews mention PlabBuddy — our previous name. Same product, same team. We rebranded to MLAbuddy to reflect our full UKMLA coverage.
The Exam
What is PLAB 2?
PLAB 2 is the GMC's clinical assessment for international medical graduates (IMGs) seeking to practise medicine in the UK. It tests the same core OSCE skills as UK medical school finals — history taking, communication, explanation, and data interpretation — but in a structured 16-station circuit.
The challenge for most IMGs: you're preparing alone, often from a different time zone, without a peer network to practise with. MLAbuddy removes that barrier entirely.
What You Can Practise
Station types covered
MLAbuddy covers the station types that actually appear in PLAB 2 — and the ones where most candidates lose marks.
History Taking
Most commonThe most common PLAB 2 station type. Practise presenting complaints across all specialties — cardiology, respiratory, neurology, gastroenterology and more. The AI patient responds naturally to your questions.
Explanation & Counselling
High marksExplain a diagnosis, walk through a procedure, or counsel a patient on lifestyle changes. The AI patient asks follow-up questions, expresses concerns, and pushes back — just like a real station.
Communication Skills
DifferentiatorBreaking bad news, dealing with an angry patient, handling a safeguarding concern. These stations separate good candidates from great ones. Practise as many times as you need without awkwardness.
Data Interpretation
AI examinerECGs, ABGs, blood results, X-rays. The AI examiner asks opening questions then probes contextually based on your answers — the same format used in PLAB 2 viva stations.
